Hawthorn Facade Restoration

Years of sun and rain had left this Hawthorn facade chalky, cracked and patchy. The owners wanted a crisp, classic result that would also protect the timber for the long term.

We pressure cleaned the full elevation, replaced rotten weatherboards, patched cracked render and primed every bare edge. Two coats of a UV-stable acrylic were applied to the boards, with a durable gloss enamel on the trims.

Protection and presence

The black-and-white scheme sharpens the architecture and sits comfortably among the neighbouring period homes. Gutters, fascias and window frames were all included for a complete result.
