Fitzroy Terrace Revival

Fitzroy terraces carry a particular charm, and this one had survived more than a century of changes. Our task was to undo the most recent ones and return the interior to something closer to its original spirit.

The hallway was painted in a warm ochre chosen from heritage palettes, with all cornices, arches and ceiling roses repaired by hand before painting. Modern white trim was replaced with a softer antique white.

Respect for the original

We worked closely with the owners and a heritage colour consultant, testing samples in morning and afternoon light before committing. The finished home feels layered, warm and unmistakably of its time.
